Tecno announced that this year, it will release the Camon 50 series and the Pova 8 series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 happening from 2 to 5 March 2026.
The MWC is the world's top mobile telecoms event and many brands use it as an opportunity for brand exposure for their biggest achievements.
The Camon 50 series is considered Tecno's imaging flagship range. This year Camon promises to offer "a revolutionary snap experience, offering smarter scene recognition, enhanced processing intelligence, and greater creative flexibility."

The Camon 50 is a successor to the Camon 40 which performed quite well globally.
The company is also unveiling its Pova 8 series which succeeds the Pova 7. According to a Tecno release, the Pova 8 series is designed to provide "a distinctive aesthetic, long-lasting battery endurance, and smooth all-around capability".
Tecno will also use the opportunity to showcase computers, tablets, and smart accessories that it makes. Beyond hardware, Tecno MWC 2026 will feature upgrades to OneLeap, the company’s cross-device platform. With OneLeap you can transfer files and share screens between Tecno phones, laptops, and tablets. The company has said that the new version will provide handoffs and better data transfer between devices.
This is not Tecno's first appearance at MWC. Last year Tecno showcased its Phantom Ultimate 2 tri-fold concept and the Spark Slim phone.
